The zeroing function enables you to take comparison measurements, displaying the appropriate positive or negative reading. Placing the center pointer on the prescribed 400mm mark, measurements shorter than the collapsed length of the tram can be made. Measuring from 1 to 3 feet this tram takes point to point measurements in the range that the DF-3 can”t. It is ideal for use under the hood and in the door jams. Comes with a full compliment of pointers and a nylon carrying bag. When fully closed it is one foot and it will extend up to three feet.
